Our founder, Hannah Rivers, has created these values through her own experiences within the cosmetic industry.
As Hannah first entered the industry as a patient, she found herself being taken advantage of by practitioners who ignored informed consent, avoided discussing possible complications, failed to provide any adequate patient education, and focused on profits.
Hannah wanted to initiate change in the industry; to stand up and be a voice for those having the same experience that she did. She wanted those seeking treatment to be comfortable and confident in their decisions.
While building her business, Hannah has completed 4 University degrees, including a Master of Nursing. She also served on the advisory board of the Cosmetic Nurses Association for 2 years, acting as a voice for nurses and advocating within the industry. During this time, she assisted in developing and updating guidelines, as well as liaising with Government bodies to maintain a reputable industry and encourage best standards of practice and care.
Hannah is recognised within the industry and throughout Australia for her strong ethics and focus on safety. She has spoken at multiple interstate conferences to both nurses and doctors on topics ranging from the industry to business management.
While simultaneously working both in and on the cosmetic industry, Hannah has maintained her position as a senior Registered Nurse within Adelaide’s busy Emergency Departments to ensure her clinical skills are maintained at a high standard.
Hannah also earn’t several accolades for her skill as a refined injector, including the original “Best Cosmetic Injector in SA”, as well as winning an Australia-wide competition to Europe for completing and presenting a patient case journey.
She has worked as a trainer and educator and now mentors existing nurses within the industry through her Self-Guided program.
